Smart Health – AI-Driven Innovation in a Cross-Border Healthcare System

AI is revolutionizing diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient engagement—yet healthcare remains one of the most complex and regulated fields for innovation. This session highlights how AI is implemented in clinical practice, research, and public health across Germany and France. Special focus is placed on interoperability, trust, and cross-border collaboration in the healthcare system of the future.

Presentations:

How to save 30 % of care givers time

The aura care monitoring system from Perspective Care GmbH detects movement patterns, mobility, fall and pressure ulcer risks, and alerts users directly via light call systems, DECT phones, voice calls, or apps in the event of risks such as emergencies. The connection to care software reduces the amount of documentation required. This leaves more time for actual care and increases patient safety.

Artificial Intelligence applied to Digital clone for surgery

Visible Patient Lab has developed an online CT or MRI analysis providing a digital clone of patients thanks to A.I. algorithms. The resulting 3D modelling of patient anatomy and pathology helps physicians understand patient specific anatomical variations so as to define optimal surgical planning. This digital twin is used to reduce intra and post operative complication as well as to create new virtual cases for education or research.
