Dr. Carmen Kempka heads the corporate technology department of WIBU-SYSTEMS AG, a company focused on software protection. She studied computer science at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) with focus on cryptography and quantum computing. After completing her PhD in 2014 she joined the Secure Platform Laboratories of NTT in Japan for two years of postdoctoral research in the field of cryptography. She joined WIBU-SYSTEMS AG in 2016, where she is now responsible for R&D projects and supports her colleagues with all questions about cryptography and security.
