Dr. Darko Katic studied computer science and received his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He has an extensive publishing record of academic research with a focus on workflow-analysis for context-aware assistance, particularly in surgical applications in collaboration with the German Cancer Research Centre, the University of Heidelberg and the University of Rennes. In his current position as a team leader at ArtiMinds, he employs AI-driven methods to assist robot programmers to create better robot programs and attain a better understanding of the process via analysis of sensor data.
