M.Sc. Gergely Sóti completed his studies in computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with focus on machine learning and robotics. Since March 2019 he is working as a research assistant at the Institute for Anthropomatics and Robotics (IAR) at the Intelligent Process Automation and Robotics Lab (IPR).
His main research area is designing robot behavior models to be safe, goal oriented, intuitive and comfortable in context of human robot interaction and collaboration. Along with modeling the environment and user of the robotic system, high-level, dynamic and reactive robot motion control play a key role in this field.
Currently he is working on project SINA (www.sina-projekt.de), developing an assistance robot for domestic use.
