Lasse Hammer is an applied-AI researcher in the Energy Division of the Institute for Information Technology OFFIS. After Studying Computer Science at the University of Oldenburg, Germany, he graduated in 2019 with a master’s degree, focusing on AI and Machine Learning. At OFFIS, he works on applied research projects in the energy domain, like predicting the usage of vehicles at container terminals to use their batteries as storage for the energy grid. He is also currently a Ph.D. student and researches the use of Adversarial Resilience Learning to optimize the robustness and resilience of energy systems. As a partner in RenovAIte, he now explores the possibilities of applying AI in the renovation industry together with the project partners.
