„Marius Bleif is Co-Founder and Head of Business at Bitahoy, a spinoff of the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. He studied cybersecurity at Saarland University and started working as a research assistant on the security of IoT devices in 2016. In 2018, with insecure IoT devices being more relevant than ever, he started working on Bitahoy alongside his Co-Founders to develop a solution that brings more security and privacy to the home network. Marius works full-time on the venture since Bitahoy received funding by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Fall 2020.“
Bitahoy:
„Bitahoy develops a cybersecurity solution for smart home appliances. The Bitahoy Watchdog can be plugged into any home network to monitor and protect all your internet connected devices. The Watchdog contains an intrusion prevention system that can detect and block network attacks in real-time without configuration. The system further provides the user with additional tools to preserve their privacy and security in their digital home, such as filtering malicious or inappropriate content.“
