He has previously worked at the Council of Europe as Adviser in the Office of the Secretary General, as Executive Secretary of the Committee on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) and as a lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights. Before joining the Council of Europe, he worked as a legal officer at the UN Office of Legal Affairs and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Technology.
